What is Fusion Children's Leadership Conference?
Fusion Children's Leadership Conference is an environment designed for lay workers, part-time children's pastors, and full-time children's pastors to come together for a renewing time of great worship, breakout sessions, and inspirational messages. This event is a great way to network with other children's workers and to make new friends in the wonderful world of children's ministry!
Take advantage of this strategic opportunity. Fusion is a conference where Children's Leaders, Children's Pastors, and Volunteers come together to be encouraged, challenged, and refreshed. In this type of environment, Leaders are able to connect with others that share the same passion for ministry, yet deal with the same challenges. Leaders leave excited about serving in their churches and with the desire to bring others around them.

   Justin Smith

Justin Smith would say that some of his favorite moments in life are spent connecting with others for  the cause of Christ.  He passionately believes his life calling is summed up within his life motto: Follow  One. Lead many. Serve all.
With over 19 years of full time ministry experience, Justin has been given a variety of opportunities  including preaching, worship, youth ministries, extensive traveling, hosting guests, savoring good food from coast to coast, and most importantly, real-life, in-the-trenches experience. His worldview offers unique insights into ministry. Justin appreciates, and candidly shares with listeners, that leadership is a moment-to-moment choice and not about title, background, or position. What a joy it has been for him to take the stories of work and life and use them to entertain, motivate, and connect with audiences across the country.

Justin is passionate about his calling as the Student Development Director at James River College.  He has served at a high capacity on the Pastoral Leadership Team at James River Church for the past seven years.  Justin has been happily married over 20 years to the love of his life, Tami. They are the proud parents of two children: Tyler, a freshman at James River College and Madi, a sophomore in high school.

 Di Beals

Di Beals is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She has a BA in Behavioral Science from Northwest University and is currently working on her MA in Leadership Studies. After 13 years in youth ministry she and her husband Brandon planted Canyon Creek Church in 2004. She and Brandon currently serve as lead pastors but Di has also served in many roles at Canyon Creek from women’s ministry to small groups to assimilation to campus pastor. With a deep desire to pursue Jesus and to motivate others to do the same, Di lives by the motto that there is “more of God;” her passion is contagious.

Di and Brandon have 3 kids; Rachel (20 years old and a student at the University of Washington) and Judah and Elijah, 16 year old twins. Di also loves to train with kettlebells, cook, drink coffee, eat peanut butter, take pictures, watch her kids play sports and spend time traveling with her husband. She is also a huge Seattle sports fan.

 Don Ross

Donald Ross currently serves as the Northwest Ministry Network Leader and served as the lead pastor of the  Creekside Church in Seattle, from1995-2014. This 60-year old church, once 2000 in attendance, declined over  fifteen years to a painful 150.

Don holds a B.A. in Biblical Literature from Northwest University. He graduated in 1997 with a Doctor of Ministry  degree from Bakke Graduate School in Seattle. His dissertation study focused on leading turnaround churches,  using his own church as a case study.

Don is a member of the Society of Church Consultants and published his first book in 2013, Turnaround Pastor,  which outlines key principles needed in a church turnaround.
Don and his wife Brenda, live in Kenmore. They have three married children, Kelly, Kathy and Tom, and seven grandchildren.
