Mel Ming | Executive Director of Pastoral Care and Development
Mel Ming is a well known leadership and organizational consultant who travels widely training and coaching church leaders and organizations.
Mel serves as the Executive Director for the Division of Pastoral Care and Development for the Northwest Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. His wife, Martha, partners with Mel in ministry.
As a “Church Leadership Coach” to church leaders, Mel meets with individuals and groups around Washington State and Northern Idaho for: Leaders Intensives, Church Development, LEAD Seminars and Pastor-Board Seminars.
He also leads the Elder team that provide ministerial care for over 340 churches in the Northwest Ministry Network.
Mel has served as a pastor, missionary, college administrator, professor, and district official. Mel was the founder of the Doctor of Ministry program for the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and the Asia Pacific Theological Seminary.
His educational background includes: a post doctoral concentration in leadership at Seattle University (Catholic); a Doctor of Ministry in Church Administration at Drew University (United Methodist); a Master of Religious Education at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Southern Baptist); and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanguard University (Assemblies of God).
Mel and Martha are Founding Partners of Leadership Development Resources, LLC. LDR produces training materials, consulting for local churches and Christian organizations, and trains coaches and consultants for other districts and organizations.

Brittany Dela Vega serves as partner with Mel Ming in the Division of Pastoral Care and Development. Brittany has worked at the Northwest Ministry Network office since June, 2009. Brittany has great gifts at organization and event planning. She is married to her husband, James, and they both attend and serve at Open Life in Bonney Lake, WA.
