BROCK HUARD - Session 1

Brock Huard is a NFL and college football analyst for FOX Sport and radio host at 710 ESPN Seattle; host of podcasts Brock and Salk on ESPN and Above & Beyond: The Intersection of Faith & Sports; and former UW and NFL quarterback. A Puyallup High School star selected as the 1995 Gatorade Circle of Champions National Player of the Year, Brock followed his older brother Damon’s footsteps, playing quarterback for the UW Huskies. Brock was drafted in 1999 and played six years in the NFL, four of which with the Seattle Seahawks. Becoming a Christ-follower in junior high, Brock continued a lifelong journey of seeking out and developing authentic and transforming friendships with Christian brothers and mentors, both on and off the field. Brock and his wife, Molly, have two daughters, Haley and Macey, and a son, Titus. We are thrilled to have Brock back with us.


Mark Batterson is the lead pastor of National Community Church in Washington, DC. One church with multiple locations, NCC owns and operates Ebenezers Coffeehouse, The Miracle Theatre, and the DC Dream Center. NCC is currently developing a city block into The Capital Turnaround, the 100,000 square foot space will include event venue, child development center, mixed-use marketplace and co-working space. Mark holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from Regent University and is the New York Times best-selling author of twenty books including, The Circle Maker, In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day, Wild Goose Chase, Play the Man, Whisper, and recently released Win the Day. Mark and his wife Lora have three children and live on Capitol Hill.

Founding pastor newhope, a multi-site church outside of Seattle. Jeffery stepped into the role as Church Multiplication Network Director for the Assemblies of God. Married to his high school sweet-heart Joanne, he is a father of two sons, Justus and Josiah. His passion is presenting hope and developing people. With a Doctorate of Ministry--emphasis in leadership, Jeffery speaks using a relational style with simple clarity that helps every generation understand and apply the Bible to their lives.
