We would love for you and the team that you do youth ministry with to join us for NW Youth Leader Summit as we unite to become the best expression of HOPE. We each know how difficult it is to watch our students, their parents, and leaders in our community respond to the tragedies of life. Sometimes these tragedies are community-wide, sometimes they are very personal. But even more difficult than watching disaster happen is watching people respond by searching for hope in things that are sure to disappoint. As we observe this hopelessness, we also wrestle with strategies to connect the deep needs of our community with the enduring hope of Jesus. Romans 5:2-5 tells us that “...we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that sufferings produce endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope and hope does not put us to shame.”
I trust that Jesus will greatly use this time of worship, time together with your team, biblical teaching and practical equipping. It is our prayer that this weekend will help you capture, recapture or simply propel the vision that He has for your ministry, in your community. Summit will be held March 7-9 in Yakima, WA. Join us as JJ Vasquez, Sonia Figueroa, Don Ross, and our National Youth Director, Josh Wellborn, share with us during this dynamic weekend together.
We can’t wait to see you there!
